14 days Christian Comprehensive tour itinerary

This is a general itinerary that can be altered according to the number of days and your personal needs and desires.

Day 1 –- Jerusalem

Our journey in Israel will direct us straight to the holy city, Jerusalem.

On the Mountain of Olives we’ll bless this great moment by observing the old city and the Temple Mount. Enjoying the incredible view we’ll hear the history of this holy place. We’ll continue to the Christian Churches on the Mountain: Church of the Ascention, Church of Pater Noster, Church of Dominus Flavit, coming to the Garden of Gethsemane and the church of all nations. This area which contained the night that Jesus was arrested steel carries the agony of it.

You will be tired, and I suggest having a ridden tour around the old city, enjoying the lighted walls and shrines of it.

Day 2 –- Jerusalem

Today we are going to visit the Church of the Holey Sepulcher, which according to tradition contains in it the Golgotha, where Jesus was crucified, and his Tomb, the place that the Son of Man has been buried. In the church we’ll visit a few Chapels, which hold Jesus’ history in it.

We’ll continue to Beith Hasda Pools (where Jesus put in to the water the handy cap and he was healed), heading to the Via Dolorosa, following the 14 stations of misery.

Then we’ll visit the Upper Room, which is the Last Supper Room, on the Zion Mount, continuing to Caifa’s house, and Church of St. Peter in Galicantu.

In the afternoon, we’ll pay a visit to the Garden Tomb, an amazing relaxing calm site, with a wonderful interesting explanation.

Day 3 –- Jerusalem

Today we will be searching the Biblical history, as well as the archeological incredible ruins inviting us to have a tour into the past.

We’ll wake up early to climb up to the Temple Mount, imagining the services 2000 and 3000 years ago on the same spot.

We’ll have a full tour to the Jewish quarter, where you’ll expose two entirely different worlds built one above the other; Roman Cardo, Israeli Cardo, Arab Cardo; interesting synagogues; Herodion quarter; the Burned house; coming to the Wailing wall. There we’ll have the opportunity of participating religious prays near the Kotel.

Walking on the same tiles of street of the Western Wall Tunnels, as our forefathers did 2000 years ago, is an experience which you’ll remember for the rest of your life.   

Mr. Amstrong, the astronaut, said as he  visited the south part of the Temple Mount, and walked the same stairs as Jesus walked leading up to the Temple Mount , that this is his high light experience in his entire life, even more than being the first man walking on the moon. We shall experience the same thing.

We shall have a tour in the City of David, including the Hezakaya tunnel (prepare yourself in getting wet), heading toward Salon Pool.

Day4 –- Jerusalem

We’ll have a special archeological experience in Zurim Valley on the slops of Mount Scopus (prepare cloths that you don’t mind to dirt them).

Our visit in the renewed Yad Vashem, holocaust museum, will include the Child Memorial museum, as well as the Righteous Gentile Avenue.
On the way we’ll observe the Knesset – Housing of the parliament of Israel, and the Menorah.

After lunch we’ll continue to Ein Karm, for the Church of St. John Beharim, and to the Church of Visitation. According to tradition, John the Baptist was born in this village.

Day 5 –- Jerusalem

At the Israel Museum we’ll see the Model of Jerusalem in the second Temple period and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea scrolls are presented.

We’ll spend the after noon in Beth Lehem, visiting the city and the Church of Nativity.

Spend your evening in one of the marvelous centers \ romantic streets\ Malls in Jerusalem.

Day 6–- The Dead Sea area

The first site today will be Qumran, the place that the first Dead Sea scrolls have been found. We’ll continue to Ein Gedi for a small hike through the beautiful nature reserve "An Oazis in the desert", while learning about David and Saul’s confrontation that took place right there.

On the Massada we’ll explore the excavation while listening to the incredible 2000 years stories about it. We’ll discuss the terrible dilemma the Zilats’ families had in their last minutes, and how it is connected to the modern state of Israel. We’ll enjoy the experience of floating on the Dead Sea. Don’t forget to bring the newspaper – this is a good place to read it while floating on the saltiest, unsinkable water. Over night - Dead Sea area. 

Day 7 – To the Sea of Galilee, through the Jordan Valley

Late check out after enjoying the Dead Sea water.

Traveling through the Jordan Valley will lead us to the north. First we’ll have a tour to Beit She’an, the ruins of an impressive Roman town, one of the Deca -polis.

On the way to "Jesus Land", we shell pay a visit in the Jordan baptismal site, to remember John the Baptist, and his meeting with Jesus.

As arriving to the north west of the Sea of Galilee,  we shall start our tour to the Mountain of Beatitudes, the place which according to tradition the Ceremony on the Mountain took place; Capernaum, the Town of Jesus; the Church of Multification of Fish and Loaves; museum of the ancient boat; and having a moment of silent by yourself on the shore of the the Sea of Galilee.

Day 8 –- Golan Heights

Today we’ll visit the Golan Heights as arriving to the feet of Hermon Mountain at Banias Fillipa, National reserve, the place that according to tradition Jesus spent some time with his disciples before…..

As we continue, we will visit the Tel Dan / Dan reservation, one of the most important springs in the land of Israel, getting to the amazing archeological excavations of the ancient town of Dan (more than 2700 years old!) where we will link the connection between the Bible’s written word and what we see there.

We shall gain a deeper understanding of Golan Heights, as we cross the Jordan River and climb up, having a few observation points over Jordan Valley in the west and the Syrian side in the east; passing through Kazerin, the only Israeli town on Golan Heights, and the Druze villages.

We’ll finish this beautiful day with Kayaking the Jordan River.

Day 9 –- Lower Galilee

As following the steps of Jesus, we’ll be visiting his childhood village, Nazareth;                  Caper Cana, the place which Jesus performed his first miracle;                                            passing through Mt. Tabor / Driving up the mountain, to pay a visit to the Church of Transfiguration.                                                                                                                                               We’ll observe a divine view of Jesrael Valley - Harmegadon Valley

Over night – Bustan Hagalil.

Day 10 –- West Galilee

We’ll drive to the adventurous under water shafts and caves of Rosh Hanikra, and get there by a cable car.

Then we’ll continue to Acco, UNESCO World Heritage Site. As descending one floor down, we shall arrive to a 900 years old world, the only Crusader town in the world. Continuing the tour to the "Old City" of Acco, strolling the allies till we arrive to the port.

As driving to Mount Carmel, we’ll have an incredible over view to the Bahai Gardens and the beautiful city of Haifa and the Muhraka, where, according to tradition,  Elisha performed the famous competition between God and the 400 prophets of Baal.

Coming to Armageddon is really a special adventure for every Christian. This will conclude our day before driving to Tel Aviv.

Day 11 –- Caesarea, Jaffa, and Tel Aviv

We’ll visit the wonderful excavations of ancient Caesarea, including an impressive Roman Theater and an Aqueduct. Here Peter as well as Paul spent their time as prisoners.

We shall start with a nice visit in Jaffa: The art galleries, the rich history escorting allies, the port, the mixture population of it, and the great view seeing from there.

As having a stroll to the streets of Tel Aviv with its special Promenade Market will be the best way to spend the after noon.

Day 12 –- Negev

Desert Trip will be leaded by a specialist guide for this field.

Agriculture in the desert.

Discover springs in the desert.

Zin River.

The Nabateen city, Shivta / Ovdat

Sleep in Mitzpe Ramon.

Day 13–- Negev

Ramon Crater.

The river of Lot.

Zihor valley.

Driving along the border with Ejept.

Over night in Tel Aviv.

 

Day 14–- Tel Aviv

Take a half day to rest or enjoy the Mediterranean.

A ridden tour will take us through the streets of Tel Aviv, observing the Wight City, UNESCO World Heritage Site,

In the after noon we’ll take a tour to Ayalon Institutes, an amazing place as well as the story, which used to be one of the top security secrets in Israel.

As a finale, we shall visit the Mini Israel site, the smallest biggest town in Israel.

The Fair Well dinner will be in an Israeli Restaurant.

Tears and hugs will not express our conction, hopping to see you again.
